#29-34: Tools of the Trade
44 Things That Spark Joy a.k.a. Sh*t That Makes Me Happy:
#29-34: Tools of the Trade
I decided in my 44th year and in light of the fact that we are all (still) looking for things to spark joy in our lives to gather 44 things I’ve found along the way this past year and share them.
It’s no secret that I like to cook and bake. While there are some days when I just want to (and do!) order pizza or get takeout because it seems daunting to cook and clean up after one more meal… I have found some great tools recently that make cooking at home much more enjoyable. Here are my finds. Enjoy!
Ninja® Foodi® 6-in-1 8-qt. 2-Basket Air Fryer with DualZone™ Technology
A popular new gadget that everyone is using. This particular one was dubbed the perfect air fryer for the short order cook… which I truly am most days with two boys. Soggy tater tots no more!
Breville Smart Waffle Maker
Prior to purchasing this waffle maker, I dreaded making waffles when my kids asked for them. My old one made a huge mess, cooked unevenly and I had to keep track of the time myself. This one literally does all the work for you!
Oster® HeatSoft Hand Mixer
While I love my stand up Kitchen Aid Mixer for big jobs, this hand mixer is great for small jobs. It also has a heat component to soften cold butter so you don’t have to wait for it to become room temperature all day.
Etekcity Food Kitchen Scale
Who needs to weigh their ingredients for baking or better yet their coffee grounds for cold brewing? This girl! This is a great affordable little scale for many uses in the kitchen.
King Arthur Sheet Pans:
I love a good non-stick sheet pan for baking and cooking. I found these and they are wonderful! They come in three sizes, clean up easily and even have a cooling rack you can purchase separately that fits inside.
Vitamix Blenders
I love my vitamix blender and use it daily for protein shakes, to make sauces and soups, smoothies for the kids and many other uses. There are several on the market and you can even find them at Costco.
